Karen Stark, MD

Dr. Stark has been a cardiologist in Scottsdale since 1997 and she is currently practicing at Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale. She previously practiced in Washington, D.C.

With board certification in both cardiology and nuclear cardiology, she has special interest in women’s heart disease and has previously served as the Director of the Women & Heart Disease program as HonorHealth. She has numerous published articles and is frequently invited to lecture at many healthcare conferences and meetings.

A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Dr. Stark completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology/angioplasty fellowships at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She was also an Assistant Professor there as well as at the State University of New York (SUNY).
