Joshua Waggoner, MD

Dr. Waggoner practices at Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale with an expertise in interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease and intervention, amputation prevention, structural heart disease and consultative cardiology.  Dr. Waggoner performs many complex interventional procedures including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair (EVAR). Dr. Waggoner earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He completed his internal medicine residency at Harbor –UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.  Both his Cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships were completed at the University of Texas Health Services Center at San Antonio, Texas.  He has been voted a Top Doc by Phoenix Magazine.

Originally from Spokane, Washington, Dr. Waggoner has been practicing in Arizona since 2013.
